Writing Community

Course Overview

When a classroom has a community of writers, students are empowered to communicate and connect; sharing personal stories, interests and reflections. Students develop their voice as writers, honing their craft and learning to articulate their ideas in written form.

As a result of participating in this Immersive Professional Learning (IPL) experience, you will explore the magic around building a WRITER’s COMMUNITY. We’ll share creative ideas for teachers and students to use independently and with peers to connect as writers, build skills in writing, and gain confidence and experience enjoyment as authors.
